Some Windows malware will run to some extent. Wine is that good an
imitation of Windows!
Some people even use this to test and analyse Windows malware on Wine:

If you want to run an antivirus, most Linux distros include ClamAV if
you want to install it. Unlike on Windows, it doesn't cripple your
machine by taking up half the CPU at all times!
