wine users - Jul 2009 - Games that check for a CD

I just installed Caesar 3 (old windows game) and with some tweaks got it to
reach the insert CD place.  The problem is, it won't recognize my CD.  I
tried searching for posts about this but surprisingly I didn't find any
answers.  Is there any way to run games like this?

oh i found a post in appdb i hadn't seen earlier.  solved it.
