I'm a new user of Wine (Darwine) on Mac OSX and wonder it it's necessary for the "Wine Log" to open each time I start up a Win app under Wine. The Log never shows any data and I'd just as soon not have to continually close it if there's a way to stop it from opening each time. Haven't found anything obvious in Preferences to control this behavior. Thanks in advance for any help.
in the preferences command-comma under the tab headed change the radio-button for the left and the right side to either a file or null (which I assume means no output whatsoever). If that does not work then you might just have to deal with it and hide the application with command-h since the wine applications are running under x11.app anyhow.
the option above null is write into a file, so try that option instead of null if null does not work.
