wine users - May 2008 - nProtect GameGuard Engine

perhaps this is an old question, but i have not found any good way to make
gameguard active on linux.

particularly i'm trying to play rohan that use gameguard; i start the loader
that downloads and installs the updates, then it starts the gameguard updater
and the console prints the following:

You can't. Wine will never support it directly. There are some ways to
"cheat" it which apply to windows as well.

"ways to cheat it"? like hosting gameguard server in local and make
gameguard to connect to it?

any other solution?
