Hello Caddish, While it is probably possible to get C9, the game, to work in Ubuntu with the proper config for WINE, the issue you are running into is with GameGuard. GameGuard is the games security layer, that many games have been using to protect from hacking and other security issues. Well i can install it just fine but when i go to play it while gameguard is running i get this error, "A debugger has been found running in your system.Please unload it from your memory and restart the aplication." I'm new to Linux and Wine so I'm not sure what to do.

Hi ho. I tryed to install Rappelz on my ubuntu 9. Installation was fine. But it woulnd start. In AppDB i found a article about rappelz epic V and that there are trouble with the gameguard (hackshield). Is it possible for the future to fix this problem? so that i can play rappelz on wine? KR Sada

Oi. So. Now we have a version of windows that actually has legit uses for wine. Windows 7 can't run horrifyingly outdated 16bit programs(Such as Exile Escape from the Pit) period. Atleast so Ive herd--and tried and seen to seem to be true. Not to mention a multitude of programs that SHOULD run--but just dont like it(Worms Armageddon, for one... though dunno if it works on wine) Also.

I have been attempting to run the .exe file for the game Maplestory using the latest version of WIne. I am using the OS Ubuntu 10.10. However, when I right click the .exe file (which i have saved to the desktop) and click run with wine, all I see is a white box and that is all.
