Hi,
I've installed wine-20030219 recently, but it doesn't really seem to
work.
In fact I can run programs once. Then when I close it and run it again, I get
errors of the following form:
XIO: fatal IO error 0 (Success) on X server ":0.0"
after 166 requests (166 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
When I try to run the Installer from Nikon Scan i get the following:
fixme:seh:check_resource_write Broken app is writing to the resource data,
enabling work-around
FIXME:pthread_cond_init
fixme:ole:CoTreatAsClass

FIXME:pthread_cond_init
XIO: fatal IO error 0 (Success) on X server ":0.0"

Can please anyone lead me out of this misery?
Thanks Norman

It is a simple SCSI Scanner, working with the Adaptec ASPI Layer. There is some support through linux as well, but some features still are missing. If I understood right the wine user guide, the scanner should work. But independent from the fact that I would be able to scan, the installer should work at least, or it would be great if I could run notepad more than once per X-Session. Not that I would use notepad, but it would give this idea of a working installation...> Is the following device managed by Linux ?
