[Logcheck-devel] Bug#262068: logcheck: Putting subdirs in ignore.d causes error emails to be sent

I have most of my /etc under CVS control. Doing this in
/etc/logcheck/ignore.d causes the following email to be sent every hour:

Subject: Cron <root at silverton> test -x /usr/sbin/logcheck &&
nice -n10
/usr/sbin/logcheck
X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh>

X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/bin:/bin>
X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=root>
egrep: /etc/logcheck/ignore.d/CVS: Is a directory

This feels like a bug to me, but perhaps I'm making a feature request.

Dale, Thanks for the report. This issue is resolved in the sarge version of logcheck, and will not likely be fixed in woody as it affects only these non-standard configurations.
