[asterisk-users] Digium Hardware Echo Cancellation
Hi All, When using a Digium card with a hardware echo cancellation module installed, is the only thing required to enable it, is to set echocancel=yes in zapata.conf? I think I remember seeing somewhere that you need to make a change in the zaptel Makefile to allow the echo cancellation to work. Is that correct and if so what is it? Regards David. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/attachments/20080909/90e4ff04/attachment.htm
Do a 'make menuselect' when you install zaptel driver and make sure in the 'Binary Firmware Package' either ' FIRMWARE-OCT6114-064' or ' FIRMWARE-OCT6114-128' is selected depending on which echo cancellation module you have. If you are unsure select both.
