I kwnow, but I have "DSP:on" also if i not have an hardware echocan
module :/ and I always have "Echo Cancellation: 0 taps, currently
OFF".

"zap show channel 5"
To see channel 5 specs, and take a look at "Echo Cancellation: 128 taps
unless TDM bridged, currently OFF" during calls, you must have
"ON".
If you have hardware echocan module, as for TDM2400E, you must also read
"DSP: yes" if this module is active.

Echo cancelling is only enabled if there is a call in progress.
