We need Asterisk (stable version) to be able to perform a 2B channel
transfer for a NI2 B8ZS PRI line. We can't use a channelized T1 at the
time for our work. This feature is commonly called a call transfer on
analog phone lines. On an analog phone line, the incoming call is
answered, a hook-flash is performed to get stutter dialtone, the telephone
number to transfer to is dialed, and finally the caller hangs up the phone
to complete the call transfer. This frees up the analog phone line to
process another call and the central office handles the transfered call.
This transfer feature can be done with a channelized winkstart T1, and is
possible on a PRI. On a PRI, this feature is called a 2B Channel Transfer.

I was interested in getting asterisk to take the 2B channel transfer 
from another PBX, with the asterisk box acting as the network side 
switch. Anyone every done anything like this before?

Hello List,
I have more of a generic question. A lot of times when
links to books, little bits of codes, diffrent
programs etc. are posted I do a wget to my server so I
can have it for future yes. Every now and then I reply
to questions with links to these kinds of things. I
have never posted the URL to my server since I dont
know if the one who made it would be happy giving out
my link and not thiers. It's easier for me to give out
the URL to my server because I tend to know what
directory it is in off the top of my head. So my
question basicly is, is it ok to post links for files
etc. on my server that orig. came from a diffrent site
?
