asterisk users - May 2005 - How to configure Inter7's Asterisk Fax with Postfix

I'm running Postfix as my email server. When comes to configuring
Asterisk Fax, Inter7 recommends QMail. Does anybody knows postfix
equivalent for the qmail? I don't have any knowlegde in QMail.

mkdir /var/qmail/ast_fax

  |/var/qmail/ast_fax/ast_fax /var/qmail/ast_fax/ast_fax.call

chmod 600 /var/qmail/alias/.qmail-default

We need to send an email with the fax number for astfax to fax.
eg: 
From: <example@example.org>
To: <15555555555@example.org>
Subject: ...

<attach fax image>

How to configure postfix to understand and deliver this?
I've tried putting this line in /etc/aliases :
fax:        |/var/mail/ast_fax/ast_fax /var/mail/ast_fax/ast_fax.call

It don't seems to works.
