I wanted to let everyone know that we have a new security list covering, Security, of all things. You can sign up at: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-security The idea here is to have a less busy list for security issues, as the -users is hard to keep up with already. Fortunately there's already data known about security and Asterisk. My interest is in being able to stay on top of issues that may show up and quickly get it solved as a team effort. By pulling resources we can test and verify a lot faster than doing it alone. Best practices can be assembled, tested and posted to the wiki for all.
