[Asterisk-Users] Low Volume WAV Files in Email Attachments
I have read several posts regarding this problem but can't find one with a solution... I see the same issue: Voicemails picked up by handset have normal volume, but voicemail sent as a wav attachments in email are so low they are barely usable... Is there a way to fix the volume before they are emailed out? Thanks for any tips.

I've got the same problem and emailed support last week and got very little to encourage me that it's any kind of priority. What are you using for telephone hardware? Your situation is a little different in that you say the voicemails play back at decent volume over the phone - are you testing with voicemails left through a POTS line connection in all cases? I'm pretty new myself, but I've got C skills and am planning to get back to looking over the code myself soon. Steve
