asterisk users - Oct 2003 - ReplayTV connecting through Asterisk box

Has anyone had any luck getting a ReplayTV DVR box to connect
through an Asterisk box?  Mine seems to dial just fine, but can't
negotiate a connection.  I am using:
   exten => _95380024,1,Dial(Zap/1/${EXTEN:1},120,d)
   exten => _95380024,2,Congestion

I don't have any problems doing a fax though my system.

For this setup, I am running a simple Digium developer's kit
on a P3-700 256MB.  I have a DG104S and ATA-186 too, but I'm
not using them for this.  The ReplayTV box is connected directy
to the TDM400P.  I am running a relatively old build:
   Asterisk CVS-07/10/03-23:27:00

Any thoughts would be appricated.

(As a humorous aside, I just spent a few hours tonight trying to figure out
  why I could not do an outside call to a particular phone number.  It turned
  out that the '2' button on the phone I was using is not working quite
right.

I would suggest NOT using the agressive echo cancellor.  I think it buggers 
up modems in a big way.

Can someone point me to the echo cancellation settings for a pure sip
setup?

I finally got a chance to much around with this a bit more.  The 
following discussion
tells about the hidden menu to change the modem speed on the ReplayTV 
box.  It's
flakey, but I can get a connection sometimes at 9600.  At this point I 
am using the ATA-186
for my primary extension (too much noise on my TDM400P).

Has anyone else seen this trunking problem?

I have two asterisk boxes, both on the same physical network inside the 
same subnet.

The are both configured to communicate with each other via IAX2.

If I leave trunking off, there is no problem at all.  The two systems 
communicate perfectly, sound quality is excellent.

However when I configure both for IAX2 trunking, the first 5 seconds of any 
call is very broken, and the consoles report the following messages:

Asterisk box 1:

WARNING[1275636528]: chan_iax2.c:2515 iax2_send: Out of trunk data space on 
call number 16384, dropping


Asterisk box 2:

Difference is 2072, ms is 279
Difference is 3392, ms is 444
...... about 7 or so of these messages.

after 5 seconds or so, everything clears up and the communication is fine.


Box 1 has two X101P cards in it, box 2 is using ztdummy.
