asterisk users - May 2003 - X100P call progress detection in UK

Hello there,

I'm new in *, and would like to know whether is possible to program * via 
AGI to do the following that would work in UK and if so, how to:

LOOP
1. call out from landline onto a short list of mobile phones
2. detect the signal
2.1 if ringing or busy or or call answered -> mark the number in db as 
reachable (don't wait for a call to be answered if possible)
2.2. all other answers or 3sec timeout -> mark the number in db as 
unreachable
3. hung up
END LOOP
