Hi, I just got a T1 interface for a AT&T (became Lucent) System75 (uses same cards as Definity). I would take a crack at making a cable but can't determine the pinout for a cable and it is not apparent from the board. Asking you guys makes sense as one of you may have one of these systems. The cable has a amphenol male D50 connector on one end and probably a rj45 on the other. I also don't know if any other devices are needed between the System75 and asterisk The DS1 Tie Trunk card is a TN722B. Any information would be helpful. Thanks, John This e-mail was scanned and found clean by Monroe-Woodbury CSD Antivirus.
After days of searching, I found H600-307. Searching this yeilded a pinout - ta da! 47 LI (High) 22 LI 48 LO 23 LO (High) (there is also a loopback pair - but I won't bore you with this) I get: I=In, O=Out Does anyone know if High (telephone lingo) corresponds to tip or ring? On our normal RJ45 do we transmit (Out) on 1&2 or 4&5? Normal RJ48 jack (some call it an RJ45 which is the same physically) out of equipment on pins 1 & 2 (Tip & Ring) into equipment on pins 4 & 5. (Tip & Ring) Normally tip is the lower number so I would *guess* that you need. pin 1 --> pin 22 pin 2 --> pin 47 pin 4 <-- pin 23 pin 5 <-- pin 48 Don Pobanz On Friday, April 04, 2003 3:54 PM, John Harragin [SMTP:jharragi@mw.k12.ny.us] wrote:> After days of searching, I found H600-307. Thanks Don, The tip side is actually the higher number - but you lead me in the right direction so one side of the numers are just flipped. 48 (W/BR) -> RTIP 1 23 (BR/W) -> RRING 2 47 (W/G) <- TTIP 4 22 (G/W) <- TRING 5 John
