CentOS - Jan 2006 - log server

Any recommendations for log servers? Mostly for firewall activity but
I'd like to use one for squid also if one is available.

So long as all the apps can syslog(), syslog-ng is my choice.

use sylog-ng. It's able to redirect the traffic to another syslog(-ng)
server where you can store and/or parse it or do it with whatever you
want.
