Starting from the 4.2 Server install on x86_64 I did a "yum update", then "yum install openssl openssl-utils" and it appears to have installed an assortment of i386 programs and libs. How do I get rid of the wrong ones? Specifically, what I want is the right stuff to run the beta VMware server. It looks like it needs some X libs and yum wants to install i386 versions of those too. -- Les Mikesell lesmikesell at gmail.com

I've installed vmware workstation on my x86_64 but you do need the 32 bit libs as well there is nothing wrong with having it set like this thou On 28 Feb 2006, at 20:54, Les Mikesell wrote:> Starting from the 4.2 Server install on x86_64 I did a > "yum update", then "yum install openssl openssl-utils" and > it appears to have installed an assortment of i386 programs > and libs.
