[zfs-discuss] default ACLs on ZFS - possible to disable?
Because of problems listed in RFE 6349974 - "Networker needs to support ZFS/NFSv4 ACLs", customer wants to know if there is a way to disable ACL''s on ZFS. I don''t think there is a way to turn off this feature in ZFS. Can someone confirm? Thank you, ~Erna

The simplest work around is to simple mount the file system over NFS and then backup via the NFS mountpoint. EMC should be releasing a patch soon that will support ZFS. Last I heard it was planned to be released in September. -Mark
