According to zfs(1M)

"         -v       Print verbose information about the stream  and
                  the time required to perform the receive.
"

However when using -v option I only get:

receiving full stream of p6/d5212 at r1 into nfs-s5-s8/d5212 at r1


Or maybe it''s due to I pipe send to recv so it''s harder to
estimate?

I *quickly* glanced at the code it looks like there''s no time
calculation.
Manual should be corrected?

If you are not getting a report of the time taken, that is a bug.
It works for me:

	# zfs send foo/bar at a | zfs recv -v foo/test at a
	receiving full stream of foo/bar at a into foo/test at a
	received 10.0Mb stream in 2 seconds (5.02Mb/sec)
	#

Note that the report of time taken is printed after the stream has been
successfully received.

You can see the code which calculates this in libzfs_dataset.c, at the
very end of zfs_receive(), under "if (verbose)".

Well, I get it after receive is completed.
However man page says that time required to receive will be printed -
which imho is different than a summary.

btw: it would be useful if in a verbose mode an estimated time to
finish would be printed/updated and then after it actually finished a
summary would be printed (like it is now).

Must have overlooked it - as I assumed ETA being printed while receive
is in progress.
