Hi, does anyone know the author for the (excellent) howto at http://remusha.wikidot.com? It needs three small updates: a) the persistent block dev patch doesn''t apply any more b) Path for the mercurial config has changed to /etc/mercurial/hgrc.d/hgext.rc c) xen 4.2 now needs yajl which is missing in the dependency list (libyajl1, libyajl-dev) Also I wondered about the Patch for the timeout handling ( http://remusha.wikidot.com/local--files/configuring-and-installing-remus/timeouts ) Is it serious that this is a hardcoded setting and you''re supposed to recompile Remus to change it? (and you''ll need to use dark magic to find the value on a running system...) Does that have any advantage stability wise? Greetings, Florian -- the purpose of libvirt is to provide an abstraction layer hiding all xen features added since 2006 until they were finally understood and copied by the kvm devs. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I tried subscribing at wikidot.com so I can do this via their wiki where he''s posting, too. Along the way I''ve also found that the server with git repo with the DR:BD patches is gone, and the Remus mercurial repository is gone too. I sense a certain risk that this will die a lonesome like some other xen parts if there''s not some more effort to make it a more accessible feature.
