When I install xcp1.0 on the computer (Lenovo Think Workstaion D20), the installing process stop allways at 94%; meanwhile the event log shows "writing file /tmp/root/tmp/xapi-squeezed-0.2-unknown.i686.rpm"; using the interactive termimal, I find xapi-squeezed-0.2-unknown.i686.rpm hasn't been written to this dir. After this operation the interactive termimal is suspended. In desperation, I choose install xcp0.5 on this computer. However, this time, xcp point out this machine has not any harddisk. On the other hand, the computer asks that driver program must be provided by means of floopy disk which cannot be gotten now. Who can help me solve my xcp installation problem as soon as posibble? This and questions like this are better sent to the Xen-users list. I''ve added them to the CC. Apparently the only reason this was kept so long was for legacy systems that needed a bit of extra help. There are plenty of 3rd party tools that can help or you can simply fall back to the old trusty "dd" method. I have started some extensive notes on the p2v subject and hope to share them with the community once I make sure there are no major flaws in them.>> >> Question 3: how to use the function o1.0 P2V? >> >> Thank you! >> >> Sinserely, >> >> Li Jianxiang >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> Thank you! >> >> Sinserely, >> >> Li Jianxiang >> >> >> >> >> >> > > > > -- > Todd Deshane > http://www.linkedin.com/in/deshantm > http://www.xen.org/products/cloudxen.html > http://runningxen.com/ > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
