The Xen.org website says that there is not high availabiity options in XCP. And by HA, I mean, if a host node fails, that the vm was start on another available host. But also migration for work load balancing would be great too. Is this true? There is no HA available? If so, what are the alternatives? If HA is available, can somepone point me to the docs or settings to configure this? thanks! The API is there, the solution as a whole is just not supplied. I believe that piece of XenServer was not open sourced. I know XCCS adds balancing, I''m not sure about HA. -Dustin On Thu, Apr 28, 2011 at 1:53 PM, Phillip Farthing <pfarthing@hotmail.com> wrote:> The Xen.org website says that there is not high availabiity options in XCP. > And by HA, I mean, if a host node fails, that the vm was start on another > available host. Hello, well, there is no HA, xha binaries which are required are not in XCP. I think this is feature only available in commercial XenServer. Anyone is using LINUX-HA on XCP or something simillar in more than 2 nodes scenario? r.
