Hello, Well i dont know whether any one has asked this question or not. I searched but couldnt get a solution. Actually i am using RHEL 5.5 Xen rpms : xen-3.0.3-105.el5 DomU of Fedora12 works pretty fine with it. But i am facing problem with the console. When i do : xm console Fedora12 it gives me the console for login using /dev/hvc0. Now i open another terminal and say : xm console Fedora12 , it opens but whatever i type in this console is seen on 1 st console and vice versa. Two console doesnt work properly . So i suspect that they are sharing the same console device. So how to configure domU to use multiple console devices. ??? They share the samekind-of-"serial" tty console. At least thats how it seems to be implemented. So you get the same mess as when two processes acces a serial interface. There seems to be some movement towards multiple console support though: http://www.mailinglistarchive.com/html/xen-devel@lists.xensource.com/2010-08/msg00632.html But thats way more recent than your 3.0.3 cheers -henrik _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
