Hello I want to build a desktop PC with premium support for XEN. I would like to spend about € 200 - €250 for processor and motherboard. What processor, chipset and motherboard would be a good choice? Please motivate! Thanks, Jacques _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I prefer SuperMicro motherboards, but Intel also has some good boards. Even on their desktop range. Otherwise go for a Core2Quad / Core2Dou type setup, but try and take the highest CPU cores that you can afford. And then look for a board with the most RAM / SATA (or SAS) / GB LAN ports that you can afford. -- Kind Regards Rudi Ahlers SoftDux Website: http://www.SoftDux.com Technical Blog: http://Blog.SoftDux.com Office: 087 805 9573 Cell: 082 554 7532 _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I''ve got five machine with these specs and I''ve had no problems with them. I couldn''t find anything cheaper that I trusted.
