[Xen-users] [XCP] How to access a physical serial-port from a domU?
Hi, I can''t seem to find any mention of how to passthrough a physical serial-port to a VM when using XCP, even though there are a lot of mention of ways to do this with "regular" Xen - is it simply not possible at the moment? If it matters at all I''m running XCP 0.5 stable on a HP DL380 G6. Yea I dont think there''s any logic to handle serial passthrough. If you''re using HVM guests, you could try hacking at /opt/xensource/libexec/qemu-dm-wrapper On 9 October 2010 15:27, Vidar Salberg Normann <vidarno@gmail.com> wrote:> Hi, > > I can''t seem to find any mention of how to passthrough a physical > serial-port > to a VM when using XCP, even though there are a lot of mention of ways to > do this with "regular" Xen - is it simply not possible at the moment? > > If it matters at all I''m running XCP 0.5 stable on a HP DL380 G6. > > Regards, > Vidar > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users >_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
