[Xen-users] Opensolaris domU - install ok, pygrub boot not ok.
Hi All, Debian squeeze, Xen 4.0, 2.6.32-5 I successfully installed opensolaris, but when trying to convert to pygrub it just hangs. root@vhost2:/var/log/xen# xm create /etc/xen/opensolaris.cfg -c Using config file "/etc/xen/opensolaris.cfg". root@vhost2:/etc/xen# xm list Name ID Mem VCPUs State Time(s) Domain-0 0 4781 2 r----- 632.3 opensolaris 38 2048 0 --p--- 0.0 The log doesn''t seem to show anything useful, [2010-08-02 00:23:19 6022] DEBUG (XendBootloader:113) Launching bootloader as [''/usr/lib/xen-4.0/bin/pygrub'', ''--output=/var/run/xend/boot/xenbl.26929'', ''/dev/internal/opensolaris'']. Re: [Xen-users] Opensolaris domU - install ok, pygrub boot not ok.
In general, MRJ''s patch for ZFS 24 didn''t came in 4.0 and 4.0.1 as well, if you tried to to load build 134. Strange is paused state. Should be "Bootloader doesn''t return any data". Anyway i attached original Mark''s patch. Aren''t you getting message "Hotplug scripts not working". That''s what caused ususally "-p-" state for me. Hi, Don''t get any messages. Just the paused state! Just to shortcut and save me time, has anyone got a precompiled pygrub they can send me with these patches included? (amd64) Also are you saying that Build 134 shouldn''t work at all anyway, and I need to get an earlier build?
