Hi! After an offlist discussion between Eddie and me, attached patch is the result. It adds ''nestedhvm'' guest config option. The hypervisor header change is fine by me, and can be checked in as part of the tools patch if relevant others Ack the patch. I''m pretty sure you''ll be asked to implement support in libxl/xl before the patch will be accepted, however. -- Keir On 17/09/2010 16:09, "Christoph Egger" <Christoph.Egger@amd.com> wrote:> > Hi! > > After an offlist discussion between Eddie and me, attached patch > is the result. I''m glad to see an ack from Eddie Dong.> I''m pretty sure you''ll be asked to implement support in libxl/xl > before the patch will be accepted, however.Indeed, we''d much appreciate an xl config option to do the same thing. xm/xend is on the way out, so adding new features to it is rather deprecated, especially without a corresponding xl/libxl change. Signed-off-by: Christoph Egger <Christoph.Egger@amd.com> However, I am not able to test the libxl specific code neither with ''xl create'' nor with ''xl list -l'' due to libxl bugs reported in http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2010-09/msg01412.html http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2010-09/msg01431.html Christoph -- ---to satisfy European Law for business letters: Advanced Micro Devices GmbH Einsteinring 24, 85609 Dornach b.
