Hello, I''ve added Xen PCI passthrough wiki page (with help from others): http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenPCIpassthrough Please verify the content, and add/edit/fix! btw. Does someone know why Xen wiki doesn''t create links to other pages anymore when I add [SomeOtherPage] to the editor? There are at least a couple of broken VTdHowTo and XenVGAPassthrough links on that page now.. -- Pasi _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

Hi, I didnt find any information about that. Is possible to passthrough a PCI card in a HVM with PV drivers domU without Intel VT-d ? Thanks. 2010/3/24 Simon Horman <horms@verge.net.au>> On Wed, Mar 24, 2010 at 09:59:19PM +0200, Pasi Kärkkäinen wrote: > > Hello, > > > > I''ve added Xen PCI passthrough wiki page (with help from others): > > http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenPCIpassthrough > > Great! > > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users >-- Sergio Roberto Charpinel Jr. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Pasi, MoinMoin doesn''t always recognize mixed case words. I changed the VTdHowTo link to read [:VTdHowTo:] instead, which Moin does recognize. That is one of a few different ways to link pages -- the other methods are explained on the HelpOnLinking page. /* * Mike Perry * mike@cogsmos.com */ On Wed, Mar 24, 2010 at 3:59 PM, Pasi Kärkkäinen <pasik@iki.fi> wrote:> Hello, > > I''ve added Xen PCI passthrough wiki page (with help from others): > http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenPCIpassthrough > > Please verify the content, and add/edit/fix! > > btw. HVM guest even with PV-on-HVM drivers is still HVM guest and thus required an IOMMU (VT-d). There''s unofficial hack (extra patch) that allows Xen PCI passthrough to *first* started HVM guest, and only to that guest.. you''re on your own with that patch.. it can be found from xen-devel archives. -- Pasi> 2010/3/24 Simon Horman <[1]horms@verge.net.au> > > On Wed, Mar 24, 2010 at 09:59:19PM +0200, Pasi Kärkkäinen wrote: > > Hello, > > > > I''ve added Xen PCI passthrough wiki page (with help from others): > > [2]http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenPCIpassthrough > > Great! > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > [3]Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > [4]http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users > > -- > Sergio Roberto Charpinel Jr. > > References > > Visible links > 1. mailto:horms@verge.net.au > 2. http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenPCIpassthrough > 3. mailto:Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > 4. http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users_______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
