[Xen-devel] Which branch to checkout running "make world" for xen-unstable ?
I believe , that makes sense to provide developers two options :- 1. Checkout xen-tip/master 2. Checkout xen-tip/next when running "make world" for xen unstable. XEN_LINUX_GIT_REMOTEBRANCH=xxx make world ...will probably do what you want. -- Keir On 24/06/2009 18:01, "Boris Derzhavets" <bderzhavets@yahoo.com> wrote:> I believe , that makes sense to provide developers two options :- > 1. I think you want to do: XEN_LINUX_GIT_REMOTEBRANCH=origin/xen-tip/next make world Patrick Boris Derzhavets wrote:> That''s a result :- > . . . . . . . . . . . . > > set -ex; \ > if ! Re: [Xen-devel] Re: Which branch to checkout running "make world" for xen-unstable ?
Kernel 2.6.30-rc6-tip been built hangs system at boot up :- Creating initial device nodes scsi_wait_scan Unknown symbol mcount lvm used greatest stack depth 5712 bytes left Output stops. Generated .config attached. I do have working .config and can build kernel separately. But , the point is to build working kernel via "make world" i believe.
