I have posted this on xen-users, but have not received any hints to possible fixes or work-arounds, so I am submitting this to the devel list as a possible bug. If someone else can confirm this I can put in a bugzilla ticket. Xen: 3.0.4.1 Dom0: CentOS 4.4 x86_64 + linux-2.6.16.33-xen_x86_64 When I create an HVM guest for the intention of running Windows and I specify the ''localtime = 1'' option, it starts qemu-dm with this option, but the guest''s rtc is still set to utc instead of localtime. My /etc/localtime is set properly and it isn''t symlinked. Do I need to make sure TZ is set in /etc/environment? When running Windows in Active Directory with group policy processing it''s important to make sure the guest has it''s rtc set properly for Kerberos authentication, as group policy is processed early in the boot sequence, but NTP is done late in the boot sequence. Any help here would be appreciated. Ross S. W. Is anybody else seeing this issue? Am I the only one? -Ross ______________________________________________________________________ This e-mail, and any attachments thereto, is intended only for use by the addressee(s) named herein and may contain legally privileged and/or confidential information.
