Hi all, Would it be possible to include support for a non-pae capable machines on the demo cd. The 3.0 version worked but the 3.0.3 version fails with Cannot execute PAE-enabled kernel on a PAE-less CPU! (Please CC me since I am not subscribed to the list) Thanks, -- Adriaan Peeters _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

AMD has had PAE since K6 or K5 days, Intel had it before then... Whilst I understand that someone may wish to not build Xen for themselves, I also think that the number of actual potential customers of Xen that has processors that doesn''t support PAE are fairly limited... -- Mats> > (Please CC me since I am not subscribed to the list) > > Thanks, > > -- > Adriaan Peeters > > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-devel mailing list > Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel > > >_______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

And, I have such an OS, and, it would not boot under the Xen RPMs. I am finding, however, that the best way to run Xen is to skip the tarballs, RPMs, etc. and just hg the source tree and build from scratch. That solved all my FC4 problems. But I don''t think the attitude of "we know best what you want" is really very helpful, especially since it is not correct. ron _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
