What''s in /var/log/xen/xend.log and /var/log/xen/xend-debug.log ? cheers, S. _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

yeah, I found it by tracing xend; it looks like the RPMs at xensource and in FC6 are for PAE kernels, which plan 9 is not. Guess I build from source now. Thanks for the pointers, though. ron _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

Does this mean there''s a Xen 3 enabled Plan 9? What use is a unicyle with no seat? And no pedals! Mark: To answer a question with a question: What use is a skateboard? Dave: Skateboards have wheels. Mark: My wheel has a wheel! _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

Now if I could only get Xen to start. Anybody had trouble with Xen and logical volumes? My xen kernel built from source just can''t find volume00. This is xen 3.0.3, ia32, SATA, 2.6.16.29-xen. I have done the mkinitrd by hand, but all the right modules seem to be in there. nevertheless, on this sata machine I don''t see it finding hda as it does with a non-Xen kernel. If anyone has seen this, let me know. ron _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
