We have tested the latest xen on VT platform with Intel 915/E8500 chipset. Three platforms(32/PAE/32E) test all are based on SMP, It means that we boot up SMP guest OS in VMX. Here is the test summary: Issues: 0).[Block issue]Failed to create 64 bits SMP/UP VMX domains in x86_64 platform, while Windows and ia32 nonpae /pae SMP VMX domains can be created successfully. see attachment "xm_dmesg and ia32e-smp.JPG" for details. 1).Create several VMX domains coexist issue seems have been resolved. But, if under an extreme condition, like when CPUs are busy with huge workloads(eg. gzip several huge files in background), then try to create ten domains, more chance to meet this problem.
