[Xen-devel] Testing the NUMA patches on the Unisys ES7000
All, I tested out Ryan Harper''s latest NUMA patches on our ES7000s. I was able to bring up a 4-cell, 32-way machine with 64 GB of memory and run multiple guests on them. Here''s the NUMA info and the heap info that I generated on the serial console. Thanks Raj (XEN) ''u'' pressed -> dumping numa info (now-0x8B:25548B0C) (XEN) idx0 -> NODE0 start->25231360 size->8388608 (XEN) phys_to_nid(1810001000) -> 0 should be 0 (XEN) idx1 -> NODE1 start->16842752 size->8388608 (XEN) phys_to_nid(1010001000) -> 1 should be 1 (XEN) idx2 -> NODE2 start->0 size->8454144 (XEN) phys_to_nid(1000) -> 2 should be 2 (XEN) idx3 -> NODE3 start->8454144 size->8388608 (XEN) phys_to_nid(810001000) -> 3 should be 3 (XEN) CPU0 -> NODE3 (XEN) CPU1 -> NODE3 (XEN) CPU2 -> NODE3 (XEN) CPU3 -> NODE3 (XEN) CPU4 -> NODE3 (XEN) CPU5 -> NODE3 (XEN) CPU6 -> NODE3 (XEN) CPU7 -> NODE3 (XEN) CPU8 -> NODE2 (XEN) CPU9 -> NODE2 (XEN) CPU10 -> NODE2 (XEN) CPU11 -> NODE2 (XEN) CPU12 -> NODE2 (XEN) CPU13 -> NODE2 (XEN) CPU14 -> NODE2 (XEN) CPU15 -> NODE2 (XEN) CPU16 -> NODE1 (XEN) CPU17 -> NODE1 (XEN) CPU18 -> NODE1 (XEN) CPU19 -> NODE1 (XEN) CPU20 -> NODE1 (XEN) CPU21 -> NODE1 (XEN) CPU22 -> NODE1 (XEN) CPU23 -> NODE1 (XEN) CPU24 -> NODE0 (XEN) CPU25 -> NODE0 (XEN) CPU26 -> NODE0 (XEN) CPU27 -> NODE0 (XEN) CPU28 -> NODE0 (XEN) CPU29 -> NODE0 (XEN) CPU30 -> NODE0 (XEN) CPU31 -> NODE0 (XEN) heap[0][2][0]-> 1 pages (XEN) heap[0][2][6]-> 64 pages (XEN) heap[0][2][7]-> 128 pages (XEN) heap[0][2][9]-> 1024 pages (XEN) heap[0][2][10]-> 1024 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][1]-> 2 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][2]-> 4 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][3]-> 8 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][4]-> 16 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][5]-> 32 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][6]-> 64 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][7]-> 128 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][8]-> 256 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][10]-> 1024 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][11]-> 2048 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][12]-> 4096 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][13]-> 8192 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][14]-> 16384 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][15]-> 32768 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][17]-> 131072 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][18]-> 262144 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][19]-> 524288 pages (XEN) heap[1][0][20]-> 7340032 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][0]-> 1 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][1]-> 2 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][2]-> 4 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][3]-> 8 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][4]-> 16 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][5]-> 32 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][6]-> 64 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][7]-> 128 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][8]-> 256 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][9]-> 512 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][10]-> 1024 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][11]-> 2048 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][12]-> 4096 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][13]-> 8192 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][14]-> 16384 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][15]-> 32768 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][16]-> 65536 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][17]-> 131072 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][18]-> 262144 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][19]-> 524288 pages (XEN) heap[1][1][20]-> 7340032 pages (XEN) heap[1][2][15]-> 32768 pages (XEN) heap[1][2][16]-> 65536 pages (XEN) heap[1][2][17]-> 131072 pages (XEN) heap[1][2][18]-> 262144 pages (XEN) heap[1][2][20]-> 7340032 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][0]-> 1 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][1]-> 10 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][2]-> 16 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][3]-> 32 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][4]-> 48 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][5]-> 96 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][6]-> 192 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][7]-> 640 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][8]-> 256 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][9]-> 512 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][10]-> 4096 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][11]-> 4096 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][12]-> 4096 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][13]-> 8192 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][17]-> 131072 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][18]-> 262144 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][19]-> 524288 pages (XEN) heap[1][3][20]-> 7340032 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][1]-> 2 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][2]-> 4 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][3]-> 8 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][4]-> 48 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][5]-> 96 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][6]-> 64 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][7]-> 128 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][9]-> 512 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][11]-> 2048 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][12]-> 4096 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][15]-> 32768 pages (XEN) heap[2][2][17]-> 131072 pages _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
