Before the contents of the staging tree get pushed out to unstable it has to pass a basic regression test on three different machines (32, 32pae and 64) which takes an hour or two. Anyone choosing to work with the staging tree should be aware that at any moment in time it may not even build. Complaining about this to the xen-devel isn''t much appreciated (though patches to fix it are!)
