[Xen-devel] Permission denied while creating a domain
Hello, i''m trying to create a domain with xm create -F my_file and i got a message : 13, Permission denied. I''ve this since i''ve upgraded xen two days ago before the same domain file worked perfectly ... odd ? Have you any clue about where can i search for problems ? (permission right ?) Needless to say that i run the xm create command in xen0 with root. Re: [Xen-devel] Permission denied while creating a domain
What version of Xen are you using? Have you rebuilt and reinstalled the tools as well as Xen itself? If the tools and the Xen version get out of sync you can sometimes get a permission denied error. If not, you shouldn''t have the ''-F''.> odd ? > Have you any clue about where can i search for problems ? (permission right > ?)Have a look in /var/log/xend.log Ian ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: InterSystems CACHE FREE OODBMS DOWNLOAD - A multidimensional database that combines robust object and relational technologies, making it a perfect match for Java, C++,COM, XML, ODBC and JDBC. www.intersystems.com/match8 _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/xen-devel

If not, you shouldn''t have the ''-F''.I''m using XSP format (the one with () everywhere) The file hasn''t moved since my upgrade so it can''t be the file neither the way i invoke the command because it''s also the same.> > > odd ? > > Have you any clue about where can i search for problems ?
