wxruby users - Jun 2004 - wxRuby 0.4.0 has been released!

wxRuby 0.4.0 has been released and is now available for download from
RubyForge at http://wxruby.rubyforge.org/ . This release includes binary
builds for Max OS X Panther and MS Windows.

Changes in this release include:
* Many bugs were fixed.
* Added grid sample program.
* Windows binary now includes shortcuts for
  all sample programs.

What is wxRuby?

wxRuby is an open source GUI toolkit for the Ruby programming
language. It provides a Ruby interface to the cross-platform
wxWidgets C++ GUI framework (formerly known as wxWindows).
wxRuby is intended to dramatically extend Ruby''s usefulness in
rapid prototyping and general UI development.

wxWidgets is a mature, cross-platform GUI toolkit that uses native
GUI widgets. This means that wxRuby applications can integrate
seamlessly on each supported platform, and can behave like the

Hello everyone,

All I need to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking for voice dictation on Windows
2000.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how I might drop it so by pixel or
line by line on a frame?

Thanks for taking care of the release process, Curt. I really appreciate 
being able to focus on the more technical side of things, knowing that 
the release is in good hands. Plus, in this case, I would have been too 
busy with my move to be able to help with a release right now.

In case folks are curious, I have arrived at my destination (Florida). 
For the next several days I will be unpacking and doing all the errands 
necessary after a move (drivers license, shopping, etc). I hope to 
return to wxruby-swig development within a week or so.
