Alex, I just saw that wxWidgets 2.8.3 was released on 03/24/2007, should we change over to that right away? The changes are: All: - Shut down the sockets gracefully (Sergio Aguayo) - Fix extra indentation in wxHTML_ALIGN_JUSTIFY display (Chacal) wxMac - Corrected top border size for wxStaticBox with empty label (nusi). - Fixed wxFont, wxPen and wxBrush accessor bugs introduced in 2.8.2. wxMSW: - Fixed wxFileName::GetSize() for large files. - Fixed wxFont and wxPen accessor bugs introduced in 2.8.2. My vote is to switch because it only looks like minor fixes (which a 2.8.x release should be). Sean

It sounds like it shouldn''t affect us apart from fixing the bugs. Our branch seems stable, though we still have a fair few changes to make to match the 2.8 API. I have a diff of the auto-generated wxruby docs which highlights all the changes and additions relevant to wxRuby. Many are only a 10 minute standalone job, and each section of the diff can be used to patch our documentation. If anyone''s interested I''ll post it up somewhere. cheers a
