Anyone managed to get windows media player plugin to work with firefox under wine ? I managed to get java plugin, flash plugin and shockwave plugin to work in firefox, but not window media plugin.

The problem with that native combination is :- 1. Shockwave does not run at all, 2. mplayer is semi working, sometimes it plays well, sometimes it gives a white screen ( which works upon restarting the play back ).
For MPlayer, you can right-click on the plugin, go to the settings and change the video renderer if the current one is giving problems. If you only really need Shockwave for some pages, use Wine Firefox only for those pages. What are you using it for?
