[Wine] Halo Combat Evolved Trial is not working correctly...
After a long time I was finally able to get the Halo trial run using Code: env WINEPREFIX="/home/bigbob/.wine" wine "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Trial\halo.exe" -novideo Once at the main menu when I click multiplayer or campaign, it makes me go to make a new profile. When I am at the creation of a new profile, it will not let me type anything. No keyboard input works. I just kill the halo process to get out of the program. How do I fix this? The terminal output from all of this was: Code: fixme:d3d:state_pscale >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_VALUE (0x501) from glPointSize(...); @ state.c / 1464 fixme:d3d:state_pscale >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_VALUE (0x501) from glPointSize(...); [Wine] Re: Halo Combat Evolved Trial is not working correctly...
I've found certain apps that have that same problem... no keyboard... but its only happened to me running full screen, the ones that have not worked right full screen though have worked if I ran in a window or a virtual desktop.... so have you tested a virtual desktop just to see?
