wine users - Sep 2009 - Problems with Britannica Encyclopedia

I've Wine installed, but it doesn't work properly. I tried to make work
Britannica ENcyclopedia (only thought, as always, for Mac and Windows) and it
works but not well. Screen background turns black and bits of the background
show up for one second here and there. Still. some inner Encyclopedia windows
haven't the text visible which only appears by running over them the pointer
arrow.

Please, is there any way to solve it?

Wine version? If it's not the latest development release, upgrade. If the
problem persists, file a bug.
