wine users - Aug 2009 - Any luck with Quickbooks?

Hi,
  Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with Quick Books. I attempted to get
the premier version installed today. With the help of winetricks, I got all the
prerequisites installed. The installation looks like everything is running fine.
However, when it gets through all the questions, and starts actually installing,
it dies on file copying.

I tried installing from the CD.  
I'm using Wine 1.1.19. 
I used  winetricks to get ie6 & doenet2.0 installed.
And I'm running on FC8 i386.

Try with 1.1.27.

Ok. I upgraded to 1.1.27. 

IE6 now seems partially broken. I will have to check that out further.

I tried installing quick books again. The installation did go farther, but it
still failed. With 1.1.19, it died just after it said it was copying new files.
Now, it got about 50% according to the progress bar before it failed.

I also tried it from both the real CD & an iso of the CD. I tried the iso,
since I got tired of retrieving the CD from the safe.

Ideas?

P.S.
  In my previous post, I meant to say I installed ie6 & dotnet 2.0 with
winetricks.

  Also, I don't know if it matters, but I am trying to install quick books
premiere 2009.

Thanks Austin,

I found out there is a cabextract FDICopy error. It seems this is fairly common.
I will check permissions, and see if I can fix this by hand. I'll keep the
list posted with what I find.
