wine users - Jun 2008 - problem running Microsoft Access 2003 in Wine

Writing on behalf of an incarcerated inmate who is having problems running
Access 2003 in Wine.  He cannot access internet or this Forum, so I will send
any replies to him.  Thank you for your thoughts and input!  :)

It's hard to help if we don't know what the problem is.

I am sorry not to have been more specific.  I will ask for details when he calls
me this evening and will post tomorrow.  Again, thank you very much!

He is unable to open a Microsoft Access Database (2003) in Linux, using Vine. 
Ideas or suggestions are appreciated [Idea]

Might try installing mdac and jet40 (winetricks would make it easy).
Terminal output would also be helpful.
