[Wine] Can wine have global system settings? or use sudo?
[Question] Hi! I've been using wine a while now with great success. However, I'm about to introduce others to linux using Ubuntu 8.04. The issue is, I'll have to install every program and library 3 or more times!!! I can have that issue in the way! They won't be as patient as me! Please tell me there is a way around this, like using /usr/share/wine? [Rolling Eyes] [Crying or Very sad] [Wink] [Exclamation] [Question] [Idea] [Arrow] :D lol. I'm almost commanding you to tell me yes!!!

Wine is not (currently) meant to be shared amongst users. Some users have tweaked around this...try searching the forum for a few examples.

You might need to check registry, symlinks to make sure they don't point to original user's directoies
