wine users - Apr 2008 - got font problem invoking wineconsole (w/ debug info)

Hello,

I have been tackling this problem for a whole day:

err:wineconsole:WCUSER_SetFont wrong font
err:wineconsole:WCUSER_SetFont wrong font
err:wineconsole:WCUSER_SetFont wrong font
err:wineconsole:WINECON_Fatal Couldn't find a decent font, aborting

I digged in and found it could be related to locale and other things.
Lacking enough knowledge, I could go no further. Result from
WINEDEBUG=warn+all,+font,+wc_font,+nls is attached.

I was using debian(etch), and installing the package provided for
debian from the repository suggested in winehq site. The version was
0.9.58.
