wine users - Mar 2007 - TaxAct 2006 Problem

TaxAct 2006 installed perfectly, and at the end of the install I was
given the option to start the program. I said yes, and the program ran
just fine.

However, when I tried to run the program separately, I got this error:
root@PC1:~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/2nd Story Software/TaxACT 2006#
./TaxAct06.exe
run-detectors: unable to find an interpreter for ./TaxAct06.exe

Any idea how I can help the program find an "interpreter"?

What message do you get when you start it like
wine ./TaxAct06.exe  
?? 

btw. Why are you running under root instead of standard user ?

Don't run wine as root.
> run-detectors: unable to find an interpreter for ./TaxAct06.exe
That doesn't come from wine, but from some other program (maybe your
shell). You'll have to run windows program as described in the Wine User
Guide.
