I'm trying to get Irfanview to work with no success so far. According to the instructions I have I need to copy "mfc42.dll" to "~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32", which I've done. I've confirmed that the file is there. I also have copied the install program to "~/.wine/drive_c/". I then try installing the program (wine iview398.exe) but get the following error: "The ordinal 6880 could not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42.DLL". Does anyone know what's up? Kerry
Sorry, I forgot to add I'm running Ubuntu Edgy with the latest version of Wine. Kerry

Daniel -- Before you post: Read the Wine User Guide http://winehq.org/site/docs/wineusr-guide/index When you post: Which wine version? Self compiled or prepackaged?

I believe the command is: regsvr32 mfc42.dll
