[Wine] PreP

Hi everybody, I am new with wine. I work on Bioinformatics and I 
would like to run several windows program on linux. I have had luck with 
severals programs but haven't with PreP, an important program for me. 
Could you tell me how run it? The program is here:

    And I obtain this error:

quick guess: did you install/copy native MFC dlls? If not, try to copy them 
from your windows box (I'm not sure wether you need a Windows licence). You 
can verify with the environment variable WINEDEBUG=+loaddll wether Wine loads 
mfc* native.

BTW: some additional information like your wine version would be helpfull.

You need a copy of mfc42.dll.  There should be one here

No problems here on wine 0.9.17. Of course, I don't have any files for
this program, so all I can do is click around in the menu.

The error he is getting does not result from a missing DLL. wine itself
does not contain mfc42.dll, so you need to use a native one anyway.
My guess:
Either the wine version is too old, or mfc42.dll is sensitive to the
emulated windows version (mine is W2K).

Upgrade your copy of DBUS. This problem is not MFC related.

Now I can open it, but when I want to open a file I obtain the error:

Could you provide a sample file to open with this program? Also, what
does
$ ls -lR ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles
show?

I tried your program with Wine 0.9.16. After copying msvcp60.dll and mfc42* 
from a windows XP install to .wine/drive_c/windows/system32 it runs perfectly 
for me. Though it is a bit slow and I have no data for further testing.
