You can either: Add the line '/usr/local/lib' to /etc/ld.so.conf and run /sbin/ldconfig export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/local/lib ************************************************* ************************************************* wine: failed to initialize: /usr/local/lib/wine/ntdll.dll.so: failed to map segment from shared object: Cannot allocate memory Installation complete for now. Good luck (this is still alpha software). If you have problems with WINE, please read the documentation first, as many kinds of potential problems are explained there. GRACIAS DESDE YA!!!! In ENGLISH: Hello to all! I have a serious problem: I follow without being able to make work WINE, have installed from completes version (0.9), to the 2004-05-05, single me has worked sta completes previously mentioned, I have not proven old versions ms. The system where I am trying it to make work is a Fedora Core 3 K12-LTSP with Kernel 2.6.11-1.14_FC3 in a type of machine i686, that is IBM ThinkCentre with a Celeron 2,66 - 256K of breaks, disc of 80 Gb - memory of interchange (swap) of 1Gb - 512 MB of ram. The subject is that I work in the Ministry of Eduacacin of the Province of Crdoba - Repblica Argentina, we have made work 10 computer science laboratories with machines 386 in network with a hybrid between LTSP and clients VNC, since LTSP does not support (in teora) machines 386, the question are that in first instance we could make them work with machines intel 80486SX without math coprocessor and 16 MB of ram, we have now managed to make them work with 8MB and ms much fast with VNC. I have here where he enters game WINE! because we have many educative applications based on MICROSOFT WINDOWS, the problem is that at the moment we will continue using the Fedora 3 K12-LTSP, but WINE complaint with the following error: ************************************************* ************************************************* The installed Wine libraries will not be found! GREETINGS FOR ALL!!!
